   Joseph H. Miller, 88, of Jersey Shore, entered his Savior’s presence on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, at ManorCare Health Services, Jersey Shore.
   Born April 13, 1930, in Jersey Shore, he was a son to the late Frederick A. Miller and the former Irma L. Limbaugh.
   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Martin L. and Frederick J. Miller; and a brother-in-law, Jack Larson.
   Joe honorably served his country in the United States Army in Korea. For many years he worked at the former Bilo Grocery store, and was the owner of J.H. Miller and Son Appliance.
   He was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Lock Haven, and a current member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Jersey Shore. Joe was granted a life membership for the Jersey Shore VFW Post 5859. He enjoyed gardening, fly-fishing, being outdoors and Farmall Tractors.
   Surviving are his loving wife, the former Irene L. Loudenslager, they were united in marriage on April 20, 1956, in Montoursville; two sons, J. Craig (Janice) Miller, of Cortland, N.Y., and Wayne A. (Kathy) Miller, of Cortland, N.Y.; a brother, David W. (Shirley) Miller, of Scotia, N.Y.; a sister, C. Susan Larson, of Pittstown, N.J.; five grandchildren, Jeffrey C. Miller, of Baldwinsville, N.Y., Darren J. (Karen) Miller, of Xenia, Ohio, Larissa J. (Andrew) Symington, of Pittsburgh, Kristen I. Miller, of Clarks Summit, Pa., and Keith A. (Christy) Miller, of Cortland, N.Y.; and two great-grandchildren, Dashel and Dakota Miller, of Xenia, Ohio.
   A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Calvary Baptist Church, 315 Thompson St., Jersey Shore. Friends and family may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the church.
   He will be laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joe's name may be made to the Cortland Christian Academy, 15 West Road, Cortland, NY 13045, or the Calvary Baptist Church, 315 Thompson St., Jersey Shore, PA 17740.

Irene: My condolences to you and your family. What fun we had when we were all young but now Jim and Joe are together again.
