     Orie L. Cline, 78, of Linden, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018, at his home.
     Born March 9, 1940, in Jersey Shore, he was the son of C. Orie Cline and the former Mary McPherson.
     Orie was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan M. Cline on March 9, 2005.
     He was a self employed farmer for many years and also had worked at Met Fab in Montoursville. For many years he was a member of the Pine Run United Methodist Church and served his church as a     Sunday School Teacher and Sunday School Superintendent.
     Orie is survived by his wife, the former Constance J. Johnson, they were united in marriage February 21, 1970 in the Pine Run United Methodist Church. Also surviving is a son Phillip L. Cline,  of Linden; three daughters, Carolyn M. (Mark) Hafer, of Horseheads, N.Y., Jennifer A. Cline, of Williamsport, and  Mary Ann (Nick) Kilpatrick, of Muncy; and five grandchildren, Henry, Jacob, Charles, Owen  and Cailyn.
     A time of visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday evening, Dec. 30, at the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at Pine Run United Methodist Church, 1719 Pine Run Road, Linden. Pastor Richard DeMarte will officiate.
     He will be laid to rest in the Woodward Township Cemetery.

I’m So Sorry to hear of Ories death. I will always remember him taking us for ice cream and to pine creek to swim as kids. He always smiled and was so joyful laughing and cracking little jokes. He is going to be so missed ! Love to you all!!!
