Ada M. Jordon, 89, of Nippenose Valley, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at her home.
Born Sept. 21, 1932 in Elmira, N.Y., she was the daughter to Harry L. Mosher and the former Winifred Waltman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Jordan on Jan. 6, 2021. They were united in marriage on Aug. 5, 1950.
She was a member of the Nippenose Bible Fellowship and over the the years, she was an organist and pianist in several area churches. For many years, she and her husband were self-employed farmers.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy L. (The Rev. David) McCoy of Williamsport; four sons, Stephen P. (Becky) Jordan of Tulsa, Okla., Wayne T. (Terrie) Jordan of Wiymauma, Fla., Samuel A. (Julie) Jordan of New Albany, Pa. and David C. (Hope) Jordan of Franklin, Mass.; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2022 at Nippenose Bible Fellowship, 92 Schoolhouse Road, Jersey Shore. A time of visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at church. She will be laid to rest in the Laddsburg Cemetery in Dushore.
