Alan R. Crossley, 67, of Rauchtown, passed away April 30, 2024 at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital.
Born November 25, 1956 in Jersey Shore, he was a son to the late Lee Crossley and the former Marie McHenry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Crossley.
Alan was a devoted member of Nippenose Bible Fellowship, where he served on the leadership team and was heavily involved in the building renovations. He was the founding member of the 1950’s band, Big Al & the Loozer’s.
He was a "Jack of all trades," and enjoyed helping everyone who needed him. He enjoyed gardening with his grandkids, and loved spending time with all his family and friends. He was known for his great sense of humor.
He is survived by his loving wife, the former Cathy A. Stahl; daughter, Jen (Matt) Milbrand, of Rauchtown; three grandchildren, Arianna, Jessalyn, and Jordan; two brothers, Ed Crossley of Williamsport and Jim (Holly) Crossley of Collomsville; a sister, Darlene Baird of Williamsport; a brother-in-law, Charlie Stahl Jr. of Williamsport; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. May 6, 2024 at Nippenose Bible Fellowship, 92 Schoolhouse Rd., Jersey Shore. A visitation will be held at 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at church. His pastor, David McCoy will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the Montoursville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Nippenose Bible Fellowship.
