Anne Marie Lorson

     Anne Marie Lorson passed peacefully from this life on the morning of July 30, 2023. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. 

     Anne Marie spent her childhood years being raised in Nippenose Valley by her two loving parents, Raymond and Martha Lorson. She spent her adult life “paying it forward”. 

     Anne Marie attained her dream job as a nurse at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown New Jersey, where she dedicated her life helping others. She brought joy to others through her passion of gardening, where her friends and family would gather to see the beauty of nature through her eyes. Anne Marie had a deep devotion to the Catholic faith attending mass, reading the bible and sharing her adoration to the church with her loved ones.

     Anne Marie is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Lorson and her mother, Martha Lorson. She is survived by her brother, David Lorson and his wife Linda, who reside in Williamsport; her niece, Lindsay Lorson, and her great nephew, Logan Lorson, who reside in New Jersey.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 6001 Jacks Hollow Rd., Williamsport, PA 17702. A vigil service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, August 3, followed by a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore.

     She will be laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
