Barbara E. Gibson

     Barbara E. Gibson, 90. passed away Monday, September 29, 2025 at WeCare at Sycamore.

     Born February 6, 1935 in Watsontown, she was a daughter to the late Harold G. Willett and the former Ethel Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mahlon T. Gibson on March 19, 2020, they were united in marriage on August 9, 1952.

     Barbara was a member of the the Larryville United Methodist Church and a former Cub Scout Leader. She is survived by her children, Carmen L. (Stephen) Fischer, of Linden, Theresa L. (Thomas) Bittner, of Vero Beach, FL, Thomas E. (Kimberly) Gibson, of Larryville, Timothy C. (Lisa) Gibson, of Las Vegas, NV, Todd W. (Shiree) Gibson, of Columbia, SC, and Tina M. (Russell) Marshall, of Larryville; 29 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a sister, Marjorie E. Blanchard, of Las Vegas.

     A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Chaplain Thomas M. Brokaw will officiate. She will be laid to rest in the Emery Cemetery in Woodward Twp. www.WelkerFuneralHome.com.
