Beverly Boone

Beverly "Bev" Boone, 90, Passed away peacefully at home in the care of her family on November 10, 2024.

Born in Williamsport on June 11, 1934, Beverly was the youngest of two daughters of the late Clarence and Ethel Berry.

Beverly graduated from Williamsport High School. After which She attended the Williamsport Hospital School of Nursing where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. Beverly enjoyed several employment opportunities such as RN in an Ophthalmologist office and assisting in ocular/eye surgery, hospital medical/surgical nurse, and Long-Term Care nursing. Also enjoyed assisting Dr. Nancy Ramin.

Beverly enjoyed traveling. She especially enjoyed camping and fishing in Canada. She also enjoyed being outside walking the bike path, riding her bike, and swimming. She, along with her husband, volunteered at Sycamore Manor for many years.

Beverly was fortunate to have enjoyed sixty-eight wonderful years of marriage to her husband James Boone. They were married on June 11, 1955.

Beverly is survived by her two daughters, Lisa A. Baskin (Jeff Chopick) and Lori L. (James) Chilson; four Grandchildren; and two Great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Boone.

Beverly will be deeply missed by her family and friends. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.

Beverly supported the Lycoming County SPCA and would want any memorial donations to go there.
