Bruce W. Rippey

     Bruce W. Rippey, 59, of Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026.

     He was born in Lock Haven, PA on October 24, 1966 to Bruce E. and Marie (Price) Rippey.

     Bruce graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 1985, where he met the love of his life, Paula (Garverick) Rippey, and they then spent forty-one years together building a beautiful family legacy.

     In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three adoring children, Christopher (Nicole) Rippey, Kelsey (Kyle) Essick, and Rachel (Tevin) Fulkrod, and seven grandchildren, who meant more to him than anything in this world: Charlotte, Evelyn, Madeline, Lucas, Emmett, Grant, and Lucy. He is also survived by his three sisters Laura (Rich) Frisco, of Farmington, MI, Becky (Dave) Ivory, of Altoona, PA, and Lisa (Ed) Osmolinski, of DuBois, PA. Bruce also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews, who will miss his laugh, his jokes, and his backyard barbecues.

     He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Kelly Ann. When Bruce was not busy following his calling and driving his big truck down the interstate, his life was marked by countless hours spent outdoors, hunting, hiking, and enjoying nature.

     He was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and monster movies. He thrived on hard work, good music, good food, and great company. His most important contribution to this earth has been the love and values he instilled in his family. A driven, selfless, and deeply caring man, who always had an ear, a shoulder, or a hand to lend, Bruce will be forever loved and missed by all whose lives he touched.

     A private celebration of life will be held in his honor for his closest family and friends.
