Carl R. Mundy Jr.

     Carl R. Mundy Jr. 81 of Linden, died April 24, 2024 at Geisinger Jersey Shore

     He was born August 4, 1942 in Williamsport the son of the late Carl R. Mundy Sr. and the former Jean Walters.

     Carl was preceded in death by his wife the former Dolores K. Hardy on July 25, 2020; a son, Carl R. Mundy III; and two sisters, Carol R. Matthews and Anna Jean Bryan  

     Carl was a life member of the Nisbet Fire Co. and for many years was employed by PMF Industries. He also was a self employed farmer for many years.

     Carl is survived by a daughter, Tina D. (Jeffrey) Ragan of Canton; 2 sons, William E. (Tammy) Mundy of Avis and Robert C. (Angie) Mundy of Canton; 2 brothers, John E. (Deb) Young of Oriole and Christopher B. (Tina) Young of Williamsport; 3 grandchildren; and two step sons, Carl D. Aldenherfer of Linden and Robert S. Elder of Williamsport; a step daughter, Robin A. Hannan of Williamsport; and six step grandchildren. 

     Funeral Services will be April 30, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home 125 N. Main Street Jersey Shore Pa. Friends may call from 10 a.m. Tuesday until time of services in the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at the Green Lawn Memorial Park in Montgomery.
