Charles W. Cogley, 93, of Linden, passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at his home.
Born Nov. 4, 1930 in Williamsport, he was the son to the late Louis Cogley and the former Catherine Hooley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Miriam Joan Libby; two daughters, Laurie and Kim; a granddaughter, Melissa; and three sisters.
Charles honorably served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was a member of the Masons, and loved spending time by the river.
He is survived by his daughter, Janet Wood, of Muncy; a son, Tracey Cogley, of Williamsport; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 1656 Scott St., Williamsport. A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at church. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in the Wildwood Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
