Charles Reeder Jr. Obituary


     Charles A. Reeder Jr., 81, of Loganton, passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, at his home.
     Born April 30, 1938, in Williamsport, he was a son to the late Charles A. Reeder Sr. and the former  Roberta Lucas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Reeder; and a sister, Sarah Knarr.
     Charles was a retired Union Millwright and self employed farmer. He was a member of the Nippenose Bible Fellowship and the NRA.
     He is survived by his loving wife, the former Janet A. Mumma, they were united in marriage on Dec. 27, 1975. Also surviving are his three sons, Richard C. (Annie) Reeder, of Loganton, Robert A. (Tammy) Reeder, of Jersey Shore, and Terry A. (Karen) Bailor, of Milford; four daughters, Debra K. Johnson, of Loganton, Cathy R. (Max) McClintick, of State College, Betsy A. (Eddie) Strouse, of Loganton, and Teresa A. Stiadle, of Williamsport; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren
     A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 2019, at the Nippenose Bible Fellowship, 92 Schoolhouse Road, Jersey Shore, PA. A time of visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday until the time of service at church. His pastor, David McCoy, will officiate.
     Charles will be laid to rest in the Rockey Cemetery on Harbaugh Road, Loganton.
