Colleen R. (Rhinehart) Shields

     Colleen Rebecca (Rhinehart) Shields 89, of Jersey Shore, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Friday, June 30, 2023.  

     Born November 20, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Hoffman) Rhinehart.  She was united in marriage to Dale C. Shields on February 14, 1953.  They were married 61 years at the time of his death in 2014.  

     They had 4 children a son, Harry E. (Janet) Shields of Jersey Shore PA; three daughters Debbie (John) Sedziol of Cincinnati OH, Nancy (Jacob) Moyer of Grafton WV, the late Sandy (Dale) Maney of Karthaus PA, and a foster daughter Carol (Kirt) Kramer of Jersey Shore PA. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. 

     Colleen was a 1951 graduate of Jersey Shore High School.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, baking, but most of all spending time with family and friends.  

     A memorial service will be held on Monday July 17, 2023 at Mountain View Alliance Church, 1515 Cemetery St., Jersey Shore.  Visitation will be 10-11am with a service to follow at 11am with Paul Confer officiating.  Private burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
