Cynthia J. (Bierly) Marshall

     Cynthia J. Marshall, 65, of Jersey Shore, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020, at her home.
     Born June 5, 1954, in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter to the late Lawrence V. Bierly and the former Francis Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Bierly, and a sister, Phoebe Budinger.
     For many years, Cindy had worked as a teacher's aide at the Jersey Shore Area Elementary School. She loved her job and working with the children. She was an avid supporter of local sports teams and enjoyed hiking and being outdoors.
     Surviving are her loving husband, Barry M. Marshall; daughters, Heather (Chez) Yothers, and Heidi Marshall, both of Jersey Shore; grandchildren, Gage Marshall, Chance Yothers, and Tayvian Yothers; a sister, Linda Bierly, of Pine Creek; in-laws, Wade and Jeannine Sheddy, of Pine Creek, Charles and Sherrell Watkins, of Eynon, Jerold and Kelly Ross, of Salladasburg, Franklin Marshall Jr., of Jersey Shore, Lynn Marshall, of North Carolina, Sandy Bierly, of Williamsport, and Gary Budinger, of McElhattan; and several nieces and nephews.
     A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
