Douglas S. Eiswerth

     Douglas S. Eiswerth (Doug), 59, of Nippenose Valley, PA passed away Thursday May 7th, 2026.

     Doug was born October 20th, 1966, in Williamsport, PA to Clem and Iris (Lindemuth) Eiswerth. He was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School and went on to pursue a carpentry degree from WAC. He spent the beginning part of his career in construction before his 30-year career at Lonza (now Arxada).

     Doug was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and spending as much time outdoors as possible. He could be found most evenings tending to his garden, trees, or fields. Doug loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always so proud to share the accomplishments and successes of his children.

     One of Doug’s greatest joys in life was his three granddaughters. Doug will be remembered as a simple, loving, hard-working, and dedicated man by his family and friends. Doug is survived by his wife Karen (Kuhns) Eiswerth, children Michael (Shauntae) Eiswerth, Travis (Madalyn) Eiswerth, Olivia Eiswerth, and three granddaughters Evelyn, Emilia, and Lark Eiswerth. In addition to his wife and children, he is also survived by his parents and two brothers, Eric (Lisa) Eiswerth, Brian (Jennifer) Eiswerth, and several nieces and nephews.

     He was proceeded in death by his brother Todd Eiswerth.

     The family will be having a private service at their discretion. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you plant a tree.
