Douglas W. Guthrie

     Douglas W. Guthrie, 70, of Jersey Shore, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024 at his home.

     Born July 5, 1954 in Jersey Shore, he was a son to the late Lee W. Guthrie and the former Mary E. Rodgers. 

     Doug honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Jersey Shore Legion and V.F.W. He enjoyed woodworking, coin and stamp collecting, scuba diving, and relaxing at home watching movies. 

     He is survived by his children, Carissa Guthrie, of Syracuse, NY and Douglas Guthrie, of Jersey Shore; and two sisters, Pamela (Bernie) Haas, of Williamsport and Debbie Guthrie, of Duxbury, Mass. 

     A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024 in the Jersey Shore Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
