Esther M. Boob

     Esther M. Boob, 89, of Loganton, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family, her caregiver, Darlenia, and UPMC Hospice Nurses.

     Born December 13, 1936 in Hyde, PA, she was a daughter to the late Arthur Meredith and the former Orpha Hayes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton L. Boob in 2014. They were united in marriage on August 27, 1960. Two sisters also preceded her in death.

     She is survived by two daughters, Teresa A. Boob and Karen L. Jordan; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother.

     A visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., January 8, 2026 at the Loganton Wesleyan Church, 4972 Long Run Road, Loganton. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday morning, January 9, at church. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery at Rosecrans, Loganton.

     In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions in her memory be made to the Susquehanna Health Foundation, Home Care and Hospice, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA.
