Gary F. “Bear” Apker

      Gary F. "Bear" Apker passed away in his Linden home on July 27, 2022.
      He was born Nov. 14, 1953, the son to the late Raymond and Ruth "Elsie" (McCloskey) Apker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a fiancé, Carolyn Barner.
      He leaves behind a son, Gary Jr. and his wife, Megan of Williamsport; 2 grandchildren, Gavin and Chandra; and a sister, Lana (Apker) Kline and her husband, John Kline.
      Gary enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and proudly shared an MC brotherhood….WFFW.
Gary’s interests encompassed all things that go fast...muscle cars, NASCAR and top fuel Harley Davidson drag racing.
      A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, Aug. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore.
