Obituary
Gary E. Budinger, 86, of McElhattan, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Rose View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born June 28, 1936 in Jersey Shore, he was the son to the late Clifford M. Budinger and the former Ruth B. Barton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Phoebetta Bierly; a brother, Garth Budinger; and a step-daughter, Lisa Bardo.
Gary honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and restoring old guns.
He is survived by his two children, Gary M. (Susan) Budinger, of Loganton, and Lori (Boyd Jr.) Clark, of Jersey Shore; a step-son, Mark (Gwen) Donnell, of South Williamsport; 5 grandchildren; a step-grandchild; and 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the Walnut Street Baptist Church, 201 W Highland St, Avis, PA, with full military honors conducted by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
Arrangements are entrusted to Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.
