Gary A. Fausey Sr., 59, of Jersey Shore, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025 at his home.
Born May 20, 1966 in Jersey Shore, he was a son to the former Ruth Willits.
Gary was an avid bowler and enjoyed spending time with his family and and friends at the Harvest Moon Bowling Alley. He retired as a volunteer at Independent Hose Station 3 in Jersey Shore after 25 years and worked as as a forklift operator for Unique Industries for several years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, the former Jeannette L. Getgen; daughter, Faith Madaline Ruth and Tiffany (Chad) Marshall; sons, Gary (Laney) Fausey Jr., Joshua Fausey, Charles Fausey, and Zach Fausey (Sommer); nieces, Lanelle Sullivan, Kailyn (Philip) Smith, Tasha (Derrick) Stiner, and Makaylah Hamm; nephews, Joey Fausey, Devin Birch, Jordan Fausey, Brentli Stiner and Anthony Stiner; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Jody (Kim) Fausey; an aunt, Clara Mae Willits; several great nieces and nephews; and his cat, Smokey.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions be sent to Welker Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
