Gary E. Kyle

     Gary E. Kyle, 74, of Jersey Shore, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Manor Care in Jersey Shore.

     Born April 20, 1949 in Dauphin County, he was the son to the late Eugene W. Kyle and the former Dorothy M. Baker (Ed Wurster). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Toberman; a son, James Dieter; and a grandson, Joseph White.

     Gary retired after 50 years of service from IBEW Local 143 in Harrisburg as an electrician. He was a member of the Red Bend Hunting and Fishing Club in White Pine, where he spent many hours enjoying time with his friends and family. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Gary was a kind, honest and loyal man, and you always knew where you stood with him.

     He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Kyle; two daughters, Stacy (Scott) Sturgeon of New Bloomfield, and Denise Dieter of Jersey Shore; daughter-in-law, Erin Dieter; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

     Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2023 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. Monday until the time of service at Welker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.

     His family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Jersey Shore Manor Care for their love and commitment in caring for Gary for the last 5 years.
