Gloria Jean Herritt

     Gloria Jean Herritt, 88, of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022 at her home.
     Born Dec. 29, 1933 in Bloomsburg, she was the daughter to the late Allen Pearly and the former Minnie Frances.
     Gloria was a graduate of Mifflinville High School. She retired from food service at the Williamsport Hospital. She was a member of the Straight Line Outreach Ministry where she served as treasurer and secretary. Gloria loved to read her guidepost devotionals and enjoyed crosswords. She loved her family and will be sadly missed.
     She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Herritt, they were united in marriage on April 25, 1964; two sons, Douglas A. (Janice) Herritt of Dale City, VA and Timothy L. (Dianna) Herritt of Williamsport; daughter, Pamela J. Girard of Mulberry, FL; 5 grandchildren; and a sister, Phyllis Runge of Bloomsburg.
     The family would like to extend a special thank you to Susquehanna Home Hospice for their loving care.
     A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2022 at the Central Baptist Church, 601 7th Avenue, Williamsport, with a visitation time beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of service. The Rev. Dianna Herritt will officiate. She will be laid to rest in the Twin Hills Memorial Park.
