Hazel M. Paulhamus, 90, of Linden, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 at WeCare at Sycamore.
Born July 15, 1934 in Salladasburg, she was a daughter to the late Harry Eck and the former Ruth Foulkrod. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Paulhamus; brother, Charles Eck; sister, Catherine Gower; son, David Paulhamus; and a step son, Charles Paulhamus.
Hazel attended First Forks School and received her GED from W.A.H.S. in 1977. For many years she worked in food service at several restaurants. She was a member of the Quiggleville United Methodist Church for over 50 years, enjoyed reading the Bible, macrame, crocheting, and watching birds and other wildlife from her window.
She is survived by a daughter, Twila J. Paulhamus, of Linden, with whom she lived with; sons, Paul E. (Kathy) Paulhamus, of Cogan Station and Craig A. (Mary) Paulhamus, of Cogan Station; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and two sister-in-laws, Janet and Mary Eck.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Hazel's name be made to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd, Williamsport, PA 17701.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in the State Road Cemetery, Cogan Station.
