Helen M. "Nonie" Cohick, 96, of Jersey Shore, passed away peacefully at her home with her granddaughter, "Rosebud," by her side.
Born Aug. 30, 1927, in Williamsport, she was a daughter to the late Lester Cohick and the former Charlene Brink. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Kline and John Cohick; and a son-in-law, Terry Webster.
Helen was a kind and giving person, always willing to reach out to anyone in need. She had a special way of always making people laugh. She always said, "If people would help their neighbor, then nobody would need help at all."
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Webster; son, Doug DeVine; granddaughter, Rosie (Eric) Weymouth; great-grandchildren, Cassie Weymouth and Krista (Brandon) Jameson; and three great-great-grandchildren, Addalynn, Charlotte and Chatham.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.
