James Boren Obituary

James A. Boren, 78, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 in Tempe, Arizona.
Born December 5, 1942 in Phoenix, Arizona, he was the son to the late J.B. Boren and the former Virginia Sumpter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Jennifer Boren and Kristeen Boren; and a grandchild, Antoinette Soto.
James was a graduate from Phoenix Union High School in Phoenix, Arizona. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. He later attended Phoenix College. James retired from Honeywell in Phoenix after many years of service.
He is survived by his wife, the former Cynthia Hensler; his stepdaughter: Lisa (Keith) Siers Yarger; grandchildren, Tamara Soto, Kevin (Caitlin) Petersen, Hunter Yarger and Chandler Yarger.
He will be laid to rest in the State Road Cemetery, Cogan Station.
