Jeffrey Bartholomew Obituary

Jeffrey L. Bartholomew, 62, of Trout Run, passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021 at UPMC surrounded by his family.

Jeff was a wonderful man who will be missed and forever cherished. He was a loving husband, dedicated father and the world's best pappy.

He was born on Feb. 5, 1959. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Bartholomew and Verna Straub. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, John Bartholomew.

He enjoyed baking and grew up learning his skill in his family bakery. He enjoyed passing his knowledge down to his family and cooking for them at every opportunity. After leaving the bakery, Jeff was a truck driver and trainer for PAM transport and Watsontown trucking. Jeff's biggest accomplishment in life was marrying his wife Lauria Bartholomew on Sept. 24, 1993. Lauria is the key to his heart and he made sure everyone knew it. He made sure Lauria and the family were always taken care of. They enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, cruises and most of all,  just being together.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and fly tying and he was a master of his skill. He enjoyed evenings in the garage with his son and best friend, Matthew, woodworking, listening to music and enjoying a few miller lites.  Jeff was big into politics and was a lifetime Republican and Trump supporter.

Surviving Jeff is the love of his life Lauria A. Bartholomew, formerly Lauria A. Winters; his sister, Bonnie (Dave) Tompkin;  his children, Matthew Bartholomew (Fawn Fulger), Amber (Jerin) Raudabaugh, Christopher Sechrist, Courtney, Douglas, Thomas, Chris, Kash, Karter and Karma Bartholomew, Nichole Baney and Jeffery Bartholomew; his grandchildren, Hunter, Tymeya, Naveya, Emma, Talon, Elijah, Isaiah, Sophia, Leland, Lucas and Layla; niece, April Paulhamus, and his beloved dog Lily.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
