Jerry M. Casale, 61, of Jersey Shore, passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2020 at his home.
Born Sept. 21, 1958 in Williamsport, he was a son to the late Arthur W. Casale Sr. and the former Johanna E. Meconi. A brother, John A. Casale, also preceded him in death.
Jerry was a 1976 graduate of Williamsport High School and a graduate of Lycoming College. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and was loved by a very special group of neighborhood friends and family. Everyone called Jerry "Co," nicknamed after the beloved sports journalist Howard Cosell. Co was an all-around athlete playing football, baseball and wrestling. He loved spending quality time in his garden and baking bread. He was a patient father, husband, brother and friend with a light heart and easy-going demeanor who always found a way to make us all laugh and smile. He kept things simple.
He is survived by two sons, Jerry M. (Amy) Casale, of Pittsburgh, and Rocky Casale (Peter), of Pittsburgh; a brother, Arthur W. Casale, of Jersey Shore; a sister, Donna R. Haas, of Boyertown; ex-wife, Pamela Cooper, of Montoursville; special friend, April Cellini, of Jersey Shore; a nephew, Dominic (Michele) Casale; and a niece, Megan (Fabio) Campos.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
