Joanne S. Saxton

     Joanne S. Saxton, 63, of Jersey Shore, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

     Born Aug. 6, 1960 in Mercer, N.J., she was a daughter to Arthur and Joanne Wolverton. 

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an uncle, George Wolverton; a sister, Linda Theander; and a brother, Art Wolverton.

     Joanne served 17 years as a CNA for the Mill House Nursing Home in Trenton, N.J. She, as well, had a passion for writing poetry throughout her life.

     She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Bryan G. Saxton; three sons, Bryan Saxton, of Williamsport, James (Ali) Saxton, of Jersey Shore, and Jay (Amber) Saxton, of Levitttown; four grandchildren, Aidan, Dahlia, Lianna and Braelyn; and two siblings, Sharon (Richard) Temple, of Mercer, N.J., and Johnny Abramson, of Rome, N.Y.

     In keeping with her wishes, services will be held on a later date at the family's convenience.

     Arrangements are entrusted to Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.
