John S. Keller, 91, of Lock Haven, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital.
Born January 1, 1931 in Lock Haven, he was the son to the late Frank A. Keller and the former Lydia C. Stayner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Grace A. Hackenberg on October 13, 1998; a granddaughter, Jennifer L. Myers; and a sister, Jeannette F. Samois.
John honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from October 1950 to August of 1954, receiving the Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lock Haven and retired after many years of service from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of Vocational and Rehabilitation.
He is survived by his special friend, Marion Spong, of McElhattan; children, Susan D. (Rich) Graham, of Carlisle, PA, Michelle B. (Michael) Noltee, of Jersey Shore, Christine K. Rhinehart (Robert Toner), of Avis, and Robert W. Keller (Holly Gricoski), of Ash, NC; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
