Joseph B. Miller, 76, of Jersey Shore, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital.
Born Nov. 4, 1945 in Jersey Shore, he was the son to the late Lee Miller and the former Dorothy Bedford.
Joseph was a graduate of the Jersey Shore High School and Harrisburg Barber College. He was a member of the Jersey Shore Legion, Trinity United Methodist Church, and worked as a parts manager at Shore Auto Parts. Joseph was a Boy Scouts Master and was the founder of Cub Mobile Racing.
He honorably served his country in the United States Navy, and currently served his community as a member of the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
He is survived by his loving wife, the former Kathleen D. LaForce; sons, Matthew B. (Joelle) Miller of Staunton, Va. and Clark T. (Jennifer) Miller of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Julie K. (Carson) Wagner of Jersey Shore and Tricia L. (William) Staggert of Bridgeton, NJ; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and a sister, Jean Bodewes of Williamsport.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore. Friends and family may call from 9 a.m. Saturday, until the time of service at church. He will be laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
