Joyce M. Crossley

   Joyce M. Crossley, 82, of Jersey Shore, passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2024, at Jersey Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

   Born Feb. 20, 1942, in Williamsport, she was the daughter to the late Dorsey S. Dunlap and the former Anna M. Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Douglas S. Crossley.

   She was a member of the Jersey Shore Moose Lodge and the Williamsport Eagles Club. Joyce retired from Sikorsky Aircraft and later worked in food service in the Woodland School District in Beacon Falls, Conn.

   She is survived by her husband, Frank G. Crossley Jr. "Skip", they were united in marriage on May 6, 1961; a son, Christopher S. (Kateri) Crossley, of Thomaston, Conn.; a daughter, Lisa M. Crossley, of Orange, Conn.; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

   A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Visitation will begin at noon until the time of service Thursday at Welker Funeral Home. The Rev. Dean Olson will officiate. She will be laid to rest in the Emery-Woodward Township Cemetery.
