Judy A. Welshans

     Judy A. Welshans, 79, of Avis, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital.

     Born December 11, 1943 in Avis, she was a daughter to the late Walter Haight and the former Hazel Driver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Snyder; and a brother, Larry Haight.

     She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield in Williamsport after many years of service. Later on in her life, she worked at ManorCare. 

     She is survived by her husband, Larry G. Welshans; a son, Randy M. (Catherine) Stover, of Jersey Shore; two sisters, Deborah K. Haight, of Avis, and Nancy L. (Bill) Coyle, of Vero Beach, FL.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. 

     A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2023 in the Jersey Shore Cemetery. 

     Arrangements are entrusted to Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.
