Karl D. Fazler, 84, of Linden, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital.
Born December 10, 1939 in Hepburnville, he was the son to the late Daniel Fazler and the former K. Leona Fisher. Shortly after Karl’s passing, he was joined in heaven by his stepson, Scott C. Carl.
Karl honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He was the former owner of Vannucci Bakery, worked in the maintenance department at First Quality, and also enjoyed farming.
He is survived by his loving wife, the former Ann L. Kneibler, they were united in marriage on March 12, 1999; three daughters, Marie A. (Robert) Welter of Duboistown, Renee A. Vonstein of Montoursville, and Julie L. (Cory) Bubb of Lamar; step daughter, Heather E. (Gerald) Grossnickel of Unityville; sons, Timothy R. Fazler of Montgomery and Glen E. Fazler of Linden; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; step-daughter-in-law, Theresa Carl of Williamsport; and a sister, Karen Plankenhorn.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Pine Run Bible Church, 1719 Pine Run Rd., Linden. Pastor Grant Helsel will officiate.
