Lana R. Daley

     Lana R. Daley, 81, of Jersey Shore, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024 at Jersey Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

     Born May 2, 1943 in Monument, she was a daughter to the late George Malcom Galbraith and the former Esther Myrtle Shady. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Daley on December 18, 2022; a sister, Deborah Galbraith; and two brothers, Ronald J. And Rodney Q. Galbraith.

     Lana was an avid animal lover and enjoyed sitting on her patio feeding the birds, squirrels, and rabbits. Her greatest love was spending time with daughters. When she was able, she enjoyed thirsty Thursdays.

     She is survived by two daughters, Toni R. (Roger) Laub of Jersey Shore and Debbie Bueno (Eric “Bo" Eck) of Jersey Shore; grandchildren, Shawn (Amber) Hummer, Christopher Hummer (Suzanne), and Tyler Laub; great-grandchildren, Kiley, Gavin, Camden, Braeden, and Dawson; and a brother, Gary L. Galbraith.

     A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 27 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening, July 26 at Welker Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
