Larry E. Killion

     Larry E. Killion, 81, of Jersey Shore, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Geisinger in Danville surrounded by his loving family.

     Born June 5, 1944 in Clearfield, he was the son of Clifford E. Killion and the former Helen Thompson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Killion, and step father, Tom Tubbs.

     Larry graduated from Clearfield High School in 1962, where he participated in wrestling. He started his employment at Weldons in Williamsport. He joined the Army National Guard from May 1965 to January 1971 in the light weapons Infantrymen. Larry worked at Piper Aircraft in Lock Haven, continued on to work at Woolrich in Avis and then the Hammermill in Lock Haven until 2001. He started his own landscaping and nursery business, Killions Perennials and Landscaping, which he loved until 2023.

     Larry was a hard worker and enjoyed meeting people and working with plants. He loved hunting, working around his house, picnics with his family and playing horseshoes.

     He is survived by his loving wife, Jan, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Also surviving are his children, Clifford (Tracey) Killion, Dennis Killion, and Kellie (John) Beveridge; grandchildren, Colton, Colin and Coy Killion, Kaden and Isabella Lomison, and Christian and Kash Beveridge; great-grandchildren, Asher, Neil and Clark Killion; sister, Tammy (Ken) Johnson; brothers, Tom (Linda) Tubbs; brother-in-laws, Jim (Diane) Lukehart and Don Lukehart; and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.
