Larue E. "Bud" Koch

       Larue E. "Bud" Koch, 88, of Jersey Shore, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Jersey Shore.
       Born Nov. 10, 1933 in Cogan House, he was a son to the late Welker and Eleanor Koch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Eva Baker; a brother, John Koch; and a son-in-law, Tommy Walker Sr.
       For many years, Larue worked as a truck driver and was a member of the Jersey Shore American Legion.
       He is survived by a son, John E. (Karen) Koch of Jersey Shore; daughter, Tammy M. Walker of Jersey Shore; brother, Joseph (Charlene) Koch of Jersey Shore; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
       A funeral service will be held at noon, Monday, Aug. 1, 2022 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, until the time of service at Welker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in the Twin Hills Memorial Park.
