Lawrence R. Stabley

     Lawrence R. Stabley, 81, of Jersey Shore, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at ManorCare South in Williamsport.

     Born November 24, 1939 in Jersey Shore, he was a son to the late Clarence Stabley and the former L. Grace Hughes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, and a granddaughter, Noelle Heck.

     Larry was a member of Mill Hall United Methodist Church and Hope River Church in Jersey Shore. He retired from Alcan after many years of service.

     He is survived by his wife, the former Wendy L. Ingraham; s son, Jeffrey A. (Kris) Stabley, of Oval; daughters, Lisa A. (Terry) Smith, of Jersey Shore, Karen L. (John) Augustine, of Jersey Shore, and Julie M. (Ken) Heck, of Rauchtown; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

     A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Pastor Dean Olson of Hope River Church will officiate. A time of visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at Welker Funeral Home.

     He will be laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
