Leroy Young Jr.

     Leroy Young, Jr., 74, of Jersey Shore, passed away Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at UPMC Susquehanna.
     Born Aug. 29, 1947, in Lock Haven, he was a son to the late Leroy Young Sr. and the former Alice Zaremba.
     Leroy enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching Penn State and the Steelers and gardening. He was a dedicated family man, a member of the Avis Fire Company and a truck driver for Walmart for many years.
     He is survived by his wife, the former Cathy E. Riggle. They were united in marriage on Feb. 3, 1968; a son, Timothy L. Young of Philadelphia; daughter, Donna L. Young (Michael Trinkle) of Blandon, Pa.; sister, Evelyn (Daniel) Dercole of Red Lion, Pa.; two brothers, Darrell (Marsha) Young of Mill Hall and James (Tally) Young of Sandston, Va.; and a granddaughter.
