Lindsey M. Harper, 26, of Wellsboro, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at UPMC Williamsport.
Born November 16, 1996 in Wellsboro, she was a daughter to Robert Dewayne Harper and the former Kennetta Jean Wright.
Lindsey was an amazing artist, an avid fisher, and a lover of nature. She had a great passion for animals and always made it her mission to save all the cats she could. Her kind heart and free spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She has left us far too early, however, she was able to give life to others through her gift of organ donation.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Kayleigh Harper; boyfriend, Jj Ross; paternal grandmother, Linda Erb; maternal grandparents, Wes and Della McCracken; aunt, Kris Hunter; uncle, Ken Wright; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Harold Bill Harper, and a paternal great-grandparents, Buck and Ruth Harper, and maternal great-grandparents, Walt and Ruth Mahosky.
A visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023, with a Memorial Service beginning at 1 p.m. at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Following the services, there will be a Memorial gathering of family and friends at Harpers Creekside Tavern, 11661 Little Pine Creek Rd., English Center.
