Early in the morning of Saturday June 24th our loving wife, mother, and Nana left us peacefully after a courageous 2 and ½ year battle with cancer.
She was born on Sunday October 1, 1950, the daughter of Ira and Mary Cole. She spent most of her life in Waverly, NY. She graduated from Waverly High School, Class of 1968. Marilyn retired from Ingersoll Rand in 2006 after working there for over 30 years. After retirement she and her daughter, Kelly, opened a floral shop in downtown Watkins Glen. The memories they made there are cherished.
In 2011 she married her loving husband Joe Williamson and moved to Trout Run, PA. Marilyn and Joe shared a passion for music and attended many concerts and festivals together. Marilyn enjoyed being with friends, she was the life of the party and lit up every room she walked into. Marilyn was also an avid sports fan, you could always find her cheering on the Yankees, NY Giants, Buffalo Sabres, Penn State and Notre Dame. The role she loved most was being a mother and Nana. Many vacations were spent with her children and granddaughters. She enjoyed spending time in Watkins Glen for many family gatherings.
Marilyn is predeceased by her parents, Ira and Mary Cole, brother Gary Mitchell and her late husband Thomas Mosher.
She is survived by her loving husband Joe Williamson.
