Mary K. Brown

     Mary K. Brown, 85, of Jersey Shore, passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022 at her home.
     Born Dec. 24, 1936 in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter to the late Elmer Keene and the former Mary Huntingdon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rodney D. Hill; and husband, Wayne B. Brown.
     For many years, Mary was employed at Cindy's Smiling Sammy in Avis.
     She is survived by four sons, The Rev. David L. (Vickie) Hill of Linden, Joseph E. Hill of Linden, Michael L. (Roberta) Hill of Linden, and Terry W. (Sherry) Hill of Antes Fort; daughter, Mary C. (Kurt) Nagel of Jersey Shore; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Reeder of Virginia, Nina of Fort Myers, Fla., and Sandra (Robert) Knarr of Middleburg, Pa.; and a brother, Elmer "Bud" (Donna) Huntingdon of Jersey Shore.
     A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. The Rev. David Hill will officiate.
