Mary E. McKivison, 95, of Myerstown, Pa. (formerly of Swissdale) died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, at the Stone Ridge Towne Center in Myerstown Pa.
Mary was born January 28, 1926, in Snowshoe Pa., the daughter of Lewis A. Wolford and the former Harriet O. Dunklebarger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine G. McKivison on May 22, 2009. They were united in marriage on Oct. 8, 1944, in Lock Haven. Also preceding her in death was 3 brothers, Nelson, Phillip and Homer McKivison; and a sister, Eunice Packer
She was a graduate of the State College High School and was a member of the Swissdale United Methodist Church. For many years, she and her husband were self employed building contractors.
She is survived by a son, Blaine Joseph (Pamela) McKivison of Annville; two daughters, Bonnie M. Willette of Cogan Station and Lois J. (Ed) Fischer of Bernville, Pa.; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a brother, William (Maze) Wolford of Mill Hall.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. A time of visitation will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday until the time of service at Welker Funeral Home. The Rev. Roger Yoder will officiate.
She will be laid to rest in the Rest Haven Memorial Park.
