Myrtle J. Bottorf, 94, of Jersey Shore, died Friday, June 14, 2019.
Born Feb. 9, 1925, in Chatham Run, she was the daughter to the late Daniel Hallett and the former Mary Grand.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn E. Bottorf Sr., May 7, 1996; they were united in marriage April 1, 1948, in Lock Haven. Myrtle was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald T. Hallett, and a sister, Daisy Hallett.
Myrtle was a 1944 graduate of the Lock Haven High School and for many years was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall. She was retired from West Co. after 15 years of service.
She is survived by a son, Glenn E. (Pamela) Bottorf Jr., of Linden, and a daughter, Carole L. (Steven) Kennedy, of Tuppers Plains Ohio; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles A. (Maxine) Hallett, of Jersey Shore.
Funeral services will be Saturday June 22, at 11 a.m., at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. A time of visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service at Welker Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Jersey Shore Cemetery. Donald Knecht will officiate.
