Nancy L. Lewis

     Nancy L. Lewis, 68, of Jersey Shore, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 15, 2025.

     Born October 1, 1957 in Williamsport, she was a daughter to the late Lester Lovell and the former Helen Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sherman and Crissy Lewis; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ruth Ann and Joe Wilkes, and brother-in-law Denny Lewis.

     For many years, she worked at Alcan. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, gardening, and feeding wildlife. Her greatest love in life was her family. She was "Nanny" to many.

     She is survived by her husband, Clifford Lewis; daughters, Brandy (Harold) Heck, of Linden, Miranda (Cortney) Carleton, of Maple Hill, NC, and Michelle (Daniel) Blanchard, of Antes Fort; 3 granddaughters, Falicity and Dalayla Carleton, of Maple Hill, NC, and Amanda Heck, of Linden; a brother, Thomas (Helen) Lovell, of Rineyville, KY; sisters, Lestra (Dave) Eichelberger, of Jersey Shore, Helen (Dan) Gutshall, of Middletown, Mary (Mel) Pepperman, of Linden, Sherry Edwards, of Jersey Shore, and Kathy (Mike) Nudd, of Rauchtown; sisters-in-law Sharon (Phil) Rose, of Palm Bay, FL, Barbara (Bob) Young, of Williamsport, Gloria (Arland) Knipe, of Williamsport; and step daughter, Lori Jean Cupp.

     A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. www.WelkerFuneralHome.com.
