Octora Rebecca Gardner, 93, of Lock Haven, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, at her home.
Born June 2, 1928, in Lock Haven, she was a daughter to the late Julius Arnold Killinger and Eliza Hoffman Killinger Holter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Adell Gardner, on Jan. 9, 2021. They were united in marriage on Sept. 17, 1949. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Betty Wadsworth; a brother, Carl Killinger; and a granddaughter, Christin Gardner.
For over 50 years, her and her husband were the owners of Gardnerás Garage. In her younger years, she enjoyed bingo, sewing, playing cards and deep sea fishing. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family at their camp on Pine Creek.
She is survived by three sons, Larry A. (Lori) Gardner of Jersey Shore, Rickey J. (Patty) Gardner of Pine Station and Dean A. (Patricia) Gardner of Lock Haven; a daughter, Sandra G. (James) Watkins of Pine Station; a sister, Marjorie Worden of McElhattan; brother, Gerald Holter of McElhattan; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
