Patricia Ann Scott-Howlett, passed away peacefully with her second favorite and oldest daughter by her side on January 31, 2022. . Born on May 2, 1952, in Williamsport, the daughter of the late David and Loretta Scott.
She was a daughter of the King and was enormously proud of becoming a Christ Servant Minister. She was devoted to her ministry work and had a passion for helping the elderly and the less fortunate. She was a loving, sassy, and eccentric partner, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Pat was famous for her stubborn independence, flare for dramatics, and her knack for storytelling and she will forever be remembered for how genuine, generous, caring, devoted to church, God, the elderly, and the poor that she was.
Everyone always knew where you stood with her. She liked you or she didn’t. When she considered you her friend you could always depend on her. As her children, we are still arguing over who was her favorite lol. She loved to dance and in her earlier years was an instructor at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. She was very artistic, crafty, and had many talents. She was a beautiful woman who took her appearance seriously and she always had the most beautiful make up and style.
She will be sorely missed by her husband Robert Hile, her eldest and second favorite daughter Terry Younkin: son in law (Richard), previous son in law (Larry), favorite youngest daughter Jennifer Eisenhart: son in law (Erik), grandchildren: Larry Wallen III (Brianne), Taylor Wallen (Tom), Noah Wallen, Jacob Scott, Britney Younkin, Branden Younkin, Ashley Flower (Corey), Caitlyn Peruyero (John), and Taylor Garcia (Isaac). Great grandchildren: Sawyer Yeagle, Leland Wallen IV, and Leighanne Wallen. Her sister: Susan Baker (Duane) and a couple of other siblings that are not worth mentioning. (Her favorite daughter did not agree to this line but, since I wasn’t the favorite anyway, I can be the honest one.) Her best friends: Brenda and Roland and her beloved pets: Guinness and Graycin.
We all loved her dearly and will never forget her. She lived her life on her terms until the very end and we were blessed to be a part of that. She joked or maybe she really believed that she was an orphan. She never felt as loved as what she truly was. We truly hope that in Heaven she will experience a love, acceptance, and a healthiness that she never fully achieved here on Earth and that every night she will dance the night away.
A private family ‘Celebration of Life’ will be held, in lieu of a service. For many years she did not have the resources to travel so we have decided that her final resting place will be the Naples Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. We are going to give her the best vacation ever.
