Penelope E. Young

     Penelope E. Young, 74, of Jersey Shore, passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2022 at UPMC Susquehanna.
     Born July 2, 1947 in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter to the late Edward Brown and Wanda (William “Bob”) Korb. In addition to her parents and step father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arden “Arney” Young.
     Penelope enjoyed bird watching, cooking, sewing, ceramics, reading, movies, puzzles and coloring books.  Her greatest love was her family.
     She is survived by her children, Tania Myers, Deanne (Kevin) Fanning, Jamie Weaver (Charles Moore) and Robert Fisher; brother, Edward W. (Belva) Brown; grandchildren, Jacob Myers, Tyler Boring (Luke Rupert), Zachary Myers, McKayla Green (Alexis Jacobs), Donald Hill Jr., and 14 out of state grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Gayle Coombs, Stephanie Brown and Donna Arthur; and a great-grandson.
     Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
