Richard A. Breen

     Richard A. Breen, 80, of Jersey Shore, passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, at ManorCare Health Services, Jersey Shore.

     Born Sept. 23, 1939, in Williamsport, he was a son to the late John J. Breen and the former Beatrice M. Wenzel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Carl Joseph Breen.

     Richard retired from General Cable Company after many years of service. He enjoyed camping and collecting antique cars.

     He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force.

     Surviving are four daughters, Deborah Kay Porter, of Jersey Shore, Wanda M. Alexander, of Jersey Shore, Kerry L. (Norman) Bliler, of Oval, and Tina L. (Fred) Rogers, of Williamsport; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack Breen, of Williamsport; and a sister, Susan Suehr, of Nisbet.

     A funeral service will be held at noon Friday, Dec. 6, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. He will be laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
