Obituary

     Richard K. "Rick" Leitch Sr., 62, of Woodward Township, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at UPMC Lock Haven Hospital.
     Born Sept. 7, 1959 in Lock Haven, he was the son to the late Alton J. Leitch and the former Thelma H. Hague. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all of his siblings, and his best friends, Nas and Bear.
     Rick was a 1977 graduate of Lock Haven high school. Earlier in his life, he worked at the Hammermill in Lock Haven, and recently was a self employed contractor. He enjoyed drag racing and hunting.
     He is survived by his wife, the former Tracey E. Smeal, they were united in marriage on Feb. 16, 2010; two sons, Richard K. Jr. (Amber) Leitch, of Mill Hall and Robert M. (Jamie) Leitch, of Mill Hall; 3 grandchildren; his best friend, Porky; and cat, Spook.
     A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2022 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. A time of visitation will be held at noon until the time of service Friday at Welker Funeral Home. The family requests casual clothing per Ricks wishes.
