Richard E. Stover

     Richard E. Stover, 58, of Rauchtown, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 28, 2023, at his home.

     Born Aug. 18, 1964 in Jersey Shore, he was a son to the late Laverne Stover Sr. and the former Bonita Meixel.

     Richard was a 1982 graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School. He was a certified welder, and worked at Wire Rope in Williamsport for 15 years.

     He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, but his greatest love was his family.

     He is survived by his loving wife, the former Debra A. Willits; two sons, Joshua P. (Tabitha) Stover and Jordan R. (Hanna) Stover; a brother, Laverne E. Jr. (Donna) Stover; and two sisters, Tammy (Robert) Lamey and Lori Stover.

     Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

     Arrangements are entrusted to Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.
