Richard L. "Larry" Coleman Jr., 73, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, at UPMC Williamsport.
Born Jan. 29, 1951, in Jersey Shore, he was a son to the late Richard L. Coleman and the former Leola Dudley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Theo J. Bilbay on Nov. 5, 2023.
Larry was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School and Kutztown State College. He worked at P-Stone and later in life worked for Hawbaker's. He was a vocalist and drummer in the Foggers and the Continentals.
He is survived by three sons, Richard L. (Laura) Sly Coleman III of Jersey Shore, B.J. "Lee" (Jamie) Coleman of Jersey Shore, and Hunter L. (Jennifer) Miller of Erie; grandchildren, Cadence, Kya, Toby, Reya, Gage, Austin, Dakota, Kaleb, Debbie, Zachary, Brayden, Rhydhan, Ollie, Vincent, Zion, Aydra, Vayda, Aavyn, and Kyla; great-grandchildren, Addalynn, Payton, and Tristan; and a brother, Ronald Coleman of Nj.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2024, at the Gamble Farm Inn, 311 N. Main St., Jersey Shore.
Arrangements are entrusted to Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.
